Every single day, a widow named Martha visited the local cemetery to water the flowers on her late husband Harry’s grave. Her friend Leila eventually noticed a very bizarre habit: whenever Martha finished her chores, she would always walk completely backward until she cleared the cemetery gates.
Unable to contain her curiosity any longer, Leila finally pulled her aside and asked, “Martha, why on earth do you always leave Harry’s grave walking backward?”
Martha looked around cautiously, leaned in close, and whispered:
“Well, when Harry was alive, he used to check me out and say, ‘Honey, you’ve got an ass so great it could bring a dead man back to life.’ … I’m finally enjoying some peace and quiet, and I am absolutely not taking any chances!”
