One Royal Family now owns more of London than King Charles

Despite being the ruler of the United Kingdom, King Charles III has recently been seized by the Royal Family of another country in terms of how much London land he owns.

Unpredicted new figures from a GB News report are said to imply that the British King’s personal foothold in the capital city is significantly lower than that of another kingdom.

This isn’t to say that royal properties have been withdrew from Charles’ roster, with Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace and St James’s Palace, as well as the Tower of London, and Hampton Court Palace, all falling under the authority of the Crown Estate.

This means that that they’re all owned by the he sovereign in trust for the country – in this case, the King – and are not private property.

What the latest figures do imply, however, is that over time, another royal household has quietly spread their property portfolio in London to oust Charles.

We are, of course, talking about the House of Al-Thani, the directive royal dynasty of Qatar.

According to new reports, the Qatari royal household have collected quite the real estate empire in the UK’s capital, that is now said to widen much further beyond the British Royal Family.

Unlike Charles, however, the Al-Thani family’s portfolio is full of wholly private listings – and being that their total wealth is calculated at around £2.4 billion, their cooperative properties must also be worth a pretty penny.

For reference, the House’s leader, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, is said to be worth about £1.6 billion alone.

The GB News report contended that most of the Qatari Royal Family’s residences are located in northwest Mayfair – so much so, that the affluent area is now named by property experts ‘Little Doha’.

A quarter of the community is said to be possessed by the Al-Thani family, including the most costly private home in the UK.

This palatial dwelling is concluded to brag an astonishing 44,000 square-foot, and was treasured 10 years ago at £400m, as per Vanity Fair.

And apparently, the late Queen Elizabeth once conformed that the property made Buckingham Palace ‘look rather dull’ in comparison.

The Qatari Royal Family also co-own Canary Wharf, and have a 20 percent stake in Heathrow Airport.
