Kate Middleton forced to make huge decision about Prince George’s future

As Prince George approaches the summer vacation, the Prince and Princess of Wales will be spending time with their loved ones, but they will also be preparing for a significant choice.

On July 22, George will turn twelve. He and his younger siblings will begin their final year of elementary school at Lambrook School in September.

Given that he is almost twelve, you might be wondering why the monarch is still enrolled in elementary school. The reason is that the esteemed institution, which can cost parents up to £8,238 each term, retains pupils until they are thirteen.

George is now poised to enter into his final year there, meaning Kate Middleton and Prince William will be facing some big decisions over his future.

According to reports, there has been back and forth about which high school George should go to and if he should follow in his father’s or mother’s footsteps.

The Princess of Wales went to Marlborough College, and Prince William went to Eton College.

The Daily Mail claims that because Eton is “conveniently near the family home in Windsor,” it might be the winner.

Prior to Prince George beginning his schooling there in 2026, the palace is anticipated to make the announcement in the upcoming weeks.

Given that girls are allowed to attend, it was assumed he would go to Marlborough, where his younger sister might eventually accompany him. “I know something and the people at Eton know something, but I’m not going to tell you,” according to one insider.

George went to Eton with his parents, according to the Mail, and the trip was “the talk of the school, and of the parents.” The source also said that Eton is feeling “smug” about the apparent choice.

For the future king, turning 12 is also a significant milestone for another reason.

According to royal protocol, he and his siblings will no longer be allowed to travel on a plane together in case the unthinkable happens and the plane crashes.

The seriousness of his future is also setting in, according to one royal expert, as ‘the reality of his destiny has begun to hit home’.

That’s according to the former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond, who told the Mirror: “He tends to look rather serious when he’s ‘on parade’ these days. Charlotte looks demure, Louis looks impish, but George sometimes looks rather preoccupied to me.

“And who can blame him? It is an extraordinary prospect to know that one day you will be taking on the huge role that you are now watching your grandfather perform.

“But he’s not, by any means, always a serious little chap. When he’s with his dad at a football match, or fooling around with his siblings and his father, he has a wonderful smile on his face, and seems happy and relaxed.”

As his parents get him ready for life in the royal family, George has started to make more public appearances.

Before accompanying his parents to speak with Second World War heroes at a tea party at Buckingham Palace, he went to the event held to honor the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
