Grandpa’s Walking Tours Were Not What Grandma Expected

An 8-year-old boy spent his summer vacation splitting his time between Grandpa’s house and Grandma’s house.

When he finally came home, his mom asked,

“So… which house was more fun?”

Without hesitation, he replied,

“Grandpa’s!”

Grandma, who was sitting nearby, immediately raised an eyebrow.

“Oh really? And what makes Grandpa’s house so special?”

The boy smiled.

“Every morning, Grandpa takes me for a walk around the neighborhood.”

Mom nodded.

“That’s nice. Fresh air and exercise are good for you.”

The boy laughed.

“That’s not even the fun part!”

Everyone leaned closer.

“What is the fun part?”

The boy explained,

“Every time we pass someone, Grandpa whispers things like…”

‘See that guy? He’s the cheapest man on the street.’

‘That lady? She knows everyone’s business.’

‘And that man over there? He’s still pretending he forgot the money he borrowed from Grandpa.'”

Everyone burst out laughing.

Grandma smiled and asked,

“Well… what does Grandpa say about our family?”

The boy nodded seriously.

“Oh, Grandpa says we should never gossip about family.”

Grandma sighed with relief.

“Good. I’m glad he teaches you that.”

The boy smiled.

“Yeah… that’s why Grandpa always waits until we get home before he starts talking about everyone in the family.” 😂
