A frantic woman rushed into the police station, out of breath. “Officer, my husband is missing! You have to find him quickly, I’m absolutely desperate!”
The officer grabbed a notepad. “Calm down, ma’am. How long has he been missing?”
“About ten days,” she replied.
The officer stopped writing and looked at her, stunned. “Ten days? Why on earth are you only reporting this now?”
The woman sighed heavily and said, “Because I just checked the calendar and realized his salary gets deposited tonight.”
