A husband walked into Victoria’s Secret determined to buy his wife something unforgettable.
The sales clerk showed him a collection of elegant sheer nightgowns ranging from $250 to $500.
“The more sheer it is,” she explained, “the more expensive it gets.”
Without hesitation, he pointed to the sheerest one in the store. “I’ll take the $500 version.”
That evening, he proudly handed the gift to his wife.
“Go upstairs, try it on, and come model it for me!” he said with a grin.
Upstairs, she held the nightgown up to the light and laughed.
“This thing is practically invisible! I’ll just go out without it, return it tomorrow, and pocket the $500 refund.”
Feeling rather clever, she stepped onto the balcony, struck her best model pose, and smiled.
Her husband stared for a long moment… then shook his head.
“Good grief…” he sighed. “For five hundred bucks, you’d think they could’ve at least ironed it first!”
Let’s just say… he never saw what happened next.
The neighbors heard the scream, the wife heard the comment, and if he’s lucky, he should be able to see out of at least one eye by the weekend.
